“ Fantastic food, beautifully fresh and well cooked. Both the bar, restaurant and toilets are lovely and clean. Would highly recommend. ”
“ Having moved to the area recently, we have been to The Ship a few times, for food and drink - and have always been very happy. The staff are absolutely lovely, the place itself is welcoming and cozy, with plenty of outdoor seating and the food has always been great I wanted to write this review after visiting on Mother's day with my family. They arranged for us to have a table at short notice, the staff as always were very lovely and friendly and the 5 meals we had were very much enjoyed. Two of us are vegan and I already knew The Ship has some lovely vegan food options but I was blown away by the desert! Many places will throw on a lazy bit of fruit or a sorbet for vegans. The Ship offer a very generous portion of Jaffa Cake - a delicious desert. They have clearly put some thought and effort into providing a vegan option (non-vegans at my table also loved it) Very much appreciated :) ”
“ We visited here after we had a day out in Dymchurch and saw the great reviews. We came around 1pm and were able to get a seat. All the staff were very friendly and The service was great, the food came quickly and was very delicious, the menu has a range of all the favourites and something for everyone. We even treated ourselves to dessert which was lovely. Will definitely visit again! ”
“ With other pubs stopping their food service stupidly early, The Ship Inn stepped up to the plate! It was our first time here. We loved it. Great food. Great service. We are really looking forward to visiting again. ”
“ Popped in this evening by chance that they were still serving food, and had just missed the Sunday roast (aim to get there earlier in the afternoon). Wide range on the menu. The homemade steak and cheese pie, it was mouth watering, lovely pastry too, it was probably one of the best I've tasted, delicious, nicely presented. Service was great and we were served by a polite, lovely young lady, who made sure we had everything we needed . Made to feel welcome with a nice atmosphere. Nicely decorated, clean and tidy. ”
“ Stayed overnight here after a day at Port Lympne. The room (Golden Room) was spacious and spotless. The bed was so comfy to. Had an evening meal and breakfast, both couldn't be faulted, delicious. Thank you to all the staff who were friendly and helpful. Great stay! ”
“ We travel frequently and stay in many different hotels and pubs, I'm often unsure of what to expect when it comes to pubs with rooms as they can be so hit and miss. I'm pleased to say that our stay at the Ship Inn was one of the best experiences we have had. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. We dined early evening whilst very quiet but the atmosphere was that of a full pub due to its generally warm and inviting feel which to be fair comes down to the staff, they are all so friendly and genuinely interested in conversing. At breakfast we were looked after by equally as friendly staff members and welcomed by the owner who was keen to find out if our experience had been pleasurable which it certainly was. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we will definitely return if in the area again. ”
“ Came here for a lovely Sunday roast dinner The workers were very friendly and welcoming, the decoration and atmosphere inside the pub was very warm and cosy. We sat outside in the sun and our food came very quickly and it was decisions. ”
